I'm stuck with exactly the same issue and none of the replies here suggested something that works for me. 1) Reinstall GeForce Experience To get ShadowPlay working correctly, reinstalling GeForce Experience is most likely the best solution as it’s the first solution that worked for us (after trying many, many things). If anyone can get me through this i'd be glad I'm thinking of formating windows for this. I've checked on google i'm not the only one who got this issue, but everything i tried so far does not help resolving it :( What I did: 1) While in windows, make sure the monitor you want to be recorded primary is set in Nvidia and Windows 2) Remember which slot on the graphics card the monitor is connected to, the one the Shadowplay was always jumping to, after failing to capture the monitor you need 3) Disconnect all monitors 4) Plug the monitor that you want.
