![]() ![]() The whole issue was resolved within a 12 hour period. After the purchase I sent him a copy of the invoice, within an hour I was refunded the cost of the crankset, the tool, taxes and import costs. This was from an American retailer, I’m in Canada. I placed the order for the new crankset and without asking I purchased a Parktool crank remover tool. Within an hour he emailed me back with the found part. He told me in cases like this they try to find a replacement part from a third party he said he would get back to me when he found something. With no questions asked, Chris checked the stock for a replacement only to find they had no cranksets available. I think they answered after the second ring. I called first thing in the morning when the service department first opened. I waited a few days and with still no further contact, I decided to pick up the phone and call. When I emailed them, l immediately got a canned response about how busy they were. Due to my ineptitude when putting on one of her peddles I inadvertently cross threaded the drive side crank. I very recently contacted them regarding an issue that I had with my wife’s radrunner. ![]() The EU version is 250w but I find it to have enough power and use it mainly in the 3rd power setting, switching up to 4 of 5 when needed during an incline or headwinds.Let me tell you about the “Powerless” service from Rad. The bike is very stable and steers quite good and the brakes work very well, the gears switch very smoothly but by mine the 5th gear is a little bit edgy and feels like it wants to keep jumping out of gear, maybe it still needs some fine tuning, but haven’t managed to get it right yet after a few adjustments. It’s was very easy to set up and the instructions were very clear. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. All the best for the FutureĪfter lots of hesitation I finally decided to buy the RadRhino 6 plus. May be - with a diffenent Setup in EU you could keep the Business in EU active. Little sad that the Company actually does leave the EU Market to focus on their main Business in America. Me and my Wife are really happy with our purchase and believe the Bikes is super solid and of a good quality and makes us a lot of fun. Since then we drove several times in all terrains and Mountains up and down - through Forest Paths and I can tell you the Bike does it all perfectly fine. We have not really Bike Construction Skills BUT when we got our Bikes by Parcel - and opened the Boxes to start with the assembly of the Bikes with the fist Bike we finished after 1,5 hours and the second Bike within 1 Hour. The Backoffice - in Person Serena have been of great help and fast with answers for any kind of question i placed. ![]() Long Story Short - the Rhino Plus 6 All Terrain was our final choice and we bought the Bikes 4 weeks ago. I was really looking with my wife to buy a EBike since the last 3 years. I understand problems arise but if the company had communicated with the customer this would neve I can only go by what the company website states and it resulted in me cancelling my order. It’s not very positive and to be honest a pretty crap experience for a disabled person. So, I ask myself what happens if the bike is damaged, broken? Do I have to wait 24 hours for either help or establish how I get a refund and the bike sent back. This will be responded to within 72 hours. They were stopping the customer services telephone line but will retain an email address. I am now told deliver is 10 days from next week which equates to THE END OF SEPTEMBER!!!!! I received an email from RadPower EU that basically stated that they were pulling out of the EU & UK. This would allow me to take time off my work and be home to collect the bike. There were no updates sent so I contacted the company myself and was now told Mid September. Surely this should be free having spent over £1,000 Next point is the website stated delivery is early September. It is free for customers in the good old USA. Order placed on 16th August 2023 and I found paying an extra £50 for shipping/delivery a bit excessive. ![]()
